Apiezon vacuümtoepassingen
Het Apiezon® portfolio bevat waxen, hoog-vacuüm vetten en vacuüm afdichtingsmiddelen die wereldwijd bekend staan om hun kwaliteit, consistentie en meer dan uitstekende (technische) prestaties op het gebied van vacuüm toepassingen. Niet voor niets worden Apiezon® producten, juist vanwege de specialistische ‘vacuüm-kwaliteiten’, toegepast door bijvoorbeeld de NASA en de US Navy.

Apiezon vetten
Apiezon® vetten zijn silliconenvrij en bezitten overtuigende smeer- en gasbindereigenschappen. Daarnaast beschikken ze over een extreem lage dampspanning. Bovendien zijn Apiezon® vetten, naast bestendig tegen extreme temperaturen en druk, chemisch inert en niet toxisch.
Apiezon waxen
Apiezon® waxen bieden een duurzame hoogvacuüm afdichting en beschikken over sterke gasbindereigenschappen en geringe dampspanningen. Bovendien zijn ze bestand tegen diverse soorten zuren, bijvoorbeeld vloeizuur, salpeterzuur en azijnzuur. Daarnaast zijn ze oplosbaar in koolwaterstoffen en gechloreerde koolwaterstoffen.
Apiezon afdichtingskit
Apiezon® afdichtingskit is waterdicht en uitermate geschikt voor het afdichten van aansluitingen en voor het opvullen van spleten. Ze zijn speciaal geschikt voor vacuümtechnieken indien er niet al te lage dampspanningen nodig zijn.

Apiezon H
Apiezon H Grease is a silicone-free high vacuum grease perfectly suited for use at high temperatures in both scientific and industrial applications.Apiezon H Grease has exceptional ‘stiction’ and thermal conduction properties and has gained prestigious approvals from a variety of international organisations, including BAE Systems, the European Space Agency and NASA.
Apiezon AP 201
AP201 is superior to other fluids because it delivers faster pump down-times, longer service life, easier maintenance and reduced top ups. It has been widely acknowledged that AP201 is the most reliable and cost-effective product on the market.
Apiezon Q Compound sealant can be used to seal around the edges of flat unground joints, to blank off parts of an apparatus temporarily or to seal glass cylinders to metal plates to produce temporary vacuum enclosures.
Apiezon PFPE 501
Apiezon PFPE 501 is a high temperature vacuum grease that is the best choice when running short path distillation systems that require a high-temperature seal. This is because PFPE 501 is chemically inert, and offers effective sealing properties under extreme vacuum and temperature conditions.
Apiezon L and M
Apiezon L and M greases show a degree of radiation resistance with only a comparatively small increase in stiffness after irradiation with 4 MeV electrons to a level of about 1 MGy.
Apiezon N Grease is one of the most widely used vacuum greases in cryogenics. This cryogenic grease is specially formulated to exhibit craze-free performance characteristics at low temperatures and withstand frequent cycling between cryogenic temperatures as low as -273°C and +30°C. It is also used to improve thermal contact between the sample boat and cold finger of a cryostat.
